WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU LEMONS, FIND SOMEONE WITH VODKA AND HAVE A PARTY. 🥳

1. Slow down.

If possible, don’t react immediately to an external “blip” , Instead, be patient and collect as much information as possible and process this internally, slowly and as calmly as you can.

Ask yourself, Is how I feel now really going to matter a year from now?

2. Stay positive.

When a stressful situation pops into your everyday life, your mind may go in a thousand directions and some of your thoughts may be negative.

The more your mind wanders, the more difficult it is for you to remain calm and think clearly.

3. Never ask “what if?”

A “What if” question compounds your fear and escalate your problem. Being in this head space induces sheer panic and forces you to process your situation in a way that isn’t ideal for you.

4. Take care of your body.

Make YOU and your personal health and wellbeing a priority, you’ll be better equipped to handle your current situation.

Try to eat well, exercise regularly and get plenty of sleep. Time is what we seem to have a lot of at the moment, so spend some on YOU.

Get those stress hormones down and help your body function at its highest level.

5. Disconnect.

Pull away from your situation for a while, even if only for an hour or two. When you give yourself time to process a dilemma and the surrounding emotions, you’ll be able to approach the situation with a fresh perspective and with a better outcome that works for you.

6. Friends.

When you reach out to people you trust and respect, you’ll feel more grounded. That feeling of security will help you control your stress and anxiety.

Share your thoughts , you may discover a new approach or solution to your fears and anxieties.

THIS TOO SHALL PASS. IT MAY PASS LIKE A KIDNEY STONE. But it will pass.
